Gorgeous vintage Design Institute of America (DIA) bench from the early–mid 1980s, made in Jasper, Indiana. This sculptural piece features curved waterfall arms capped in polished brass, lyre-style vertical slats, and tapered brass-finished legs—a signature look from DIA’s modernist era.
The original jacquard floral upholstery steals the show: stylized calla lilies in rose, peach, tan and green against a deep charcoal ground, with a subtle Art Deco revival feel that bridges late-’70s glam and early-’80s postmodern design. Two matching bolster pillows complete the silhouette beautifully.
Perfect for an entryway, dressing area, or the foot of a bed, this bench pairs equally well with Hollywood Regency, Deco-revival, or Ralph Lauren-style interiors. Solid welded and bolted steel construction ensures excellent stability and quality.
