Crafted in richly glazed earthenware, with a hand painted motif along the rim of each of the pieces. The soft ivory glaze is complemented by a hand painted burgundy detailing, lending vibrant color and whimsical detail to the design. Stamped "Sarreguemines" with the U & C intertwined monogram on the reverse, a hallmark of the partnership between Utzschneider & Cie, the pieces also bear impressed mold numbers.
