Beautiful and rare, vintage Murano hand blown light green and gold flecks Italian art glass bowl with internal decoration. The piece is documented to designer Ercole Barovier for Barovier e Toso, circa 1940. It is created in the "Relievi Aurati" design / technique. The technique has been published in many reference books in different shapes and patterns. The bowl is profusely covered in gold leaf through the inside. The heavy gold gathers around the little nuggets on the surface. Would make a great display piece on any desk, coffee table or credenza. Use it as a catchall, candy dish or cigar ashtray. Showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures: 7 1/4" across x 2 3/4" high.
