Vintage Postmodern Tessellated Marble and Brass Cockatoo Parrot Sculpture attributed to Maitland-Smith

This abstract sculpture of a cockatoo parrot is made of tessellated marble, brass, and bronze! It would look great featured on a console table, or displayed on a pedestal in any art collector's home! It was made in the Philippines and is attributed to Maitland-Smith. This item is in wonderful vintage condition with minor natural stone blemishes; one on the front corner of the base (highlighted/circled in red), as well as natural hairline separation in stonework on the back of the bird.
