A "Tulipa" glass bowl designed by Swedish artist Ulrica Hydman (1938-2018) for Swedish glass company Kosta Boda. Made in Sweden, the bowl features and hand-painted design of a yellow, red, and blue tulip with green stems and leaves. The vase is marked “Kosta Boda 59204 Ulrica H.U." to the underside and with a Kosta Boda sticker on the side.
Ulrica Hydman Vallien specialized in stained glass and spent some time working for Kosta Boda. She was one of only 50 artists to be selected in designing pieces for British Airways. Today, her work in found in museums worldwide, including the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Detroit Institute of Art, and more.
