A pair of 19th century asymmetrical side chairs in the manner of Gabriel Viardot. Original finish with nice glow to patina. Appears to be original fabric. In my research I Have viewed the same design chairs posted to the internet as Viardot? But, as I am not an authority on this particular designer / maker I am not able to confirm, therefore, I am attributing these to Viardot. One chair has no damage, one chair has the repaired leg and missing fretwork. (sorta like buy one get one (damaged) free)
THESE CHAIRS ARE FOR RESTORATION.
One broken and repaired leg. Loss of fretwork to one chair back.
