The case features a rich mahogany veneer with classic ogee molding, giving it an elegant and symmetrical appearance. The painted tin dial displays Roman numerals, delicate floral embellishments, and an exposed center revealing the intricate brass clockworks. Below, the reverse-painted glass panel is adorned with golden foliate designs surrounding a central floral medallion, adding to its decorative charm. This clock is powered by an eight-day brass time-and-strike movement, driven by original cast iron weights and a brass pendulum bob, ensuring accurate timekeeping. Inside, the original Seth Thomas paper label, marked “Warranted Good,” remains intact, providing historical authenticity.
