This bespoke Turtle and Crane masterpiece is a vibrant reimagining of a vintage Hollywood Regency form, paying homage to the iconic archaic bronze aesthetic of James Mont. Far from a standard restoration, this lamp features a custom, multi-layered Cinnabar and Persimmon glaze, meticulously applied in our Atelier to capture the depth and warmth of antique lacquer.
The sculptural silhouette is elevated by extensive hand-gilt flourishes and a central "Double Happiness" medallion, creating a brilliant contrast of matte spice tones and shimmering gold leaf. The substantial, archaic bronze form commands the room, offering the visual gravity of a museum piece with the fresh, sophisticated palette of modern Palm Beach. Perfectly suited for a lush Palm Beach Regency console or a spirited Grandmillennial library, this piece serves as both a source of light and a talisman of prosperity.
