This antique floor clock from central Sweden features a lovely raised bonnet adorned with petite carved flowers and a delicately etched diamond-lattice motif. The underside of round-shaped head is decorated with a series of notched carvings, while the lower neck and underside of the traditional raindrop-shaped body, are accentuated with curved trim molding. This piece is nicely raised upon its flat sided base with open scalloped front. The clock has a natural wood finish with highlighted accents. This 1820's Swedish long-case clock would be a great decorative addition to a bedroom, kitchen, or family room.

This clock is not currently in working condition. Upon completion of purchase and before shipping, a new quartz battery will be added behind the face. The original hands are too heavy to carry the quartz movement, so they would be changed to black hands in a similar in style. A pendulum will be selected and added to work with the quartz movement. The clock would then chime at the top of each hour (the chime can be turned off).
