These coastal pieces are sturdy ceramic- libbey has been the go to for diner dinnerware for generations. Theres 10 each of the 10.5" dinner plates, the 8.5" salad plate and the 7.25" rimmed cereal bowls. These are heavy, solid pieces, built to last. One of the bowls has a tiny occlusion. I'm unsure if it was low glaze or if it's a chip. Whichever it is, it's not taking in water- it's still solid. See less
