Exquisite Portuguese pewter double picture frame, richly adorned in the Rococo style. Crafted by F. Stannhos and marked “85% S.N.,” this heavy and decorative piece features swirling acanthus leaves, floral garlands, and scalloped scrollwork that add regal flair to any tabletop or mantel.
The frame accommodates two oval portraits and is finished with a warm wood back and sturdy folding easel. It’s a substantial piece, measuring 8.5" tall by 9" wide, and makes an elegant home for family photos, wedding or children's' portraits.
Handmade in Portugal, this frame is stamped and labeled. A fabulous gift or addition to a maximalist, Victorian Revival, or French Rococo interior.
