This listing is for an exquisite antique French mantel clock.
The case is made from carved slate stone. It is adorned with a statue of the Ancient Greek philosopher, Plato.
This clock is abnormally large and extremely heavy. The base is composed of 2 leveled parts
It measures about 20.65 x 7.5 x 17.5 inches
The movement is by Japy Freres. The movement was last serviced in 2017. It ran when recently tested. Please note that any mechanical clock that is shipped might require adjustments upon arrival, and thus time accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
