I would call … Read more Beautiful blue transferware platter and it is unusual to find one that is this large and round. I would call it a platter, not a charger, because of its size. It is Danish I think? The mark on the back is old: "Stjern Sund. iNERIKE" Translates to something like Stars and healthy. I can't read the mark that is impressed above. The scene in the middle is of cows, people in a boat and a castle on the hill. There also are scenes around the edge of the platter with names I suppose of the location. They are titled or named in Danish. I think this is unique for its size and that fact that it is round. Would be great hanging on a wall, as a centerpiece base, or to of course use as a serving platter for cakes, charcuterie. See less
