Glam should be de rigueur for any Hollywood Regency-inspired bar setup! This dazzlingly chic and elegant mirrored gold foil ice bucket by Georges Briard with its Lucite-like lid and T-shaped gold tone handle is the epitome of luxe. The gold foil mirrored exterior reflects light beautifully and appears to change colors, from medium to dark gold, based on lighting in the room, simply gorgeous! This beauty measures 12½” high with the handle extended up and 7¼” high with the handle down; 7¾” x 7¾” W/D; interior 5¾” high x 6½” diameter rim x 5½” diameter bottom; weight 2 lbs. 5 oz. The exterior’s fabrication is comprised of a gold foil mirrored material that looks like vertical bands all around. The interior is off white; clear Lucite-like swivel handle and lid; gold-tone metal T-shaped pull on the lid. For a vessel that is over 50 years old, it is in excellent condition with age-appropriate wear. Wear includes some spots on the Lucite-like lid which are indiscernible, a couple of wrinkles on the upper band and a wrinkle or two on the vertical bands (see photos 7 & 8), none which detract from its beauty or utility. Georges Briard label on the underside. It hails from the mid-1960s to early 1970s and was crafted in the USA. Note, Lucite-like ice thongs seen in the photos included.
