Antique Early 1920's Italian ‘Biedermeier Style’ Side Chair With Cane Seat. Stamped ‘Made in Italy’ on the underside. Reminiscent of Mario Buatta’s work. See last photo for a coordinating yet slightly different chair. If placed on opposite ends of a sideboard no one would notice the difference.

In fair condition considering age and history. Zoom in on photos to see any imperfections including a divot in the middle of the seat and a few broken pieces of caning under it on the back side, split wood in places, a loose joint where the back attaches to the chair. In need of a good wax and some restoration.
