Each slight upward curved side arm panel has an open design, inset with three delicately shaped petite faux bamboo carved wood spindles, per side. The frame of the diminutive rectangular cane seat rests on four saber legs; faux bamboo carved wood design is repeated on each side leg stretcher not just for looks but for providing structural support to the bench. Crafted from solid hardwood with a dark walnut stain finish; natural cane seat is nice and taut. This beauty measures 24¼” x 24” x 14” H/W/D; seat to floor 15¾”; interior seat dimensions 21” x 13¾” W/D; each arm measures 8½” x 13½” H/W; weight is approximately 10 lbs. It can accommodate a cushion for added comfort, if you desire, but a cushion is not included. Baker Furniture oval insignia on the underside. In overall excellent condition with age-appropriate wear. Of note, there are two glue-mend repairs on one side (see photos 6 & 7). We added two other photos, for comparison, of the untouched original other side (see photo 8). These subtle imperfections do not detract from the bench’s beauty, utility or structural integrity and are not uncommon to find in a well-loved piece of vintage furniture. Because of this beauty’s construction, we have discerned it to be too fragile to parcel ship and have chosen to offer it as an In-Home Delivery piece to ensure it gets to its new owner in the same condition as when it leaves us.
