The bucket and lid are carved from a solid piece of wood, and the inside of the bucket has a scooped bottom, the steel lining bucket was custom molded and forged to rest flush and comfortably on the inside bottom, but can be easily lifted for cleaning by the rim. The lacquer is expertly applied with the finish being more of a buttery sheen than glossy.
