We bought this interesting piece at a small antique store in Sweden last summer. A natural edge bowl hand-crafted from Swedish burr elm (La: ulmus glabra). Its organic shape is high-lighted by the natural edge with spikes, knots, valley and rick golden amber-like patina. A very tactile appearance almost like a Salto vase or a Brutalist sculpture. It deserves a modern, Scandinavian or wabi-sabi interior setting but would also do wonders in more rural back to nature or antique environments.
