A late 19th-century Italian dramatic center piece, this has a gilded bronze heavy tripod-shaped base with classical acanthus and foliage leading to a fluted column topped with figures that could be the three muses beneath the single-tiered shallow cut-crystal dish. Gorgeous, styled with fruit and flowers.
It breaks down into four parts: the base, the muses, the shallow dish, and the finial.
