The base of the pedestal features two charming little parrots perched … Read more This is a 1960's Italian majolica Lattice Pedestal Compote. The base of the pedestal features two charming little parrots perched at the base and reaching around either side of the pedestal. They are painted in a bright canary yellow and a teal blue. There are small vine branches and leaves around the vine where the parrots are resting. The compote is in a beautiful basket weave lattice style off white ground and the interior has a teal colored parrot painted on the inside of the compote bowl. This is in excellent vintage condition. We could not find any chips or damage. This stands 8.5 inches tall and 8.25 inches wide at the diameter of the bowl. This is marked Italy on the reverse. See less
