Offering a gorgeous 1950s chunky Murano glass bowl attributed to Barovier & Toso. This magnificent bowl is made of 24 karat gold and is made in the rare technique called "Coronado d'Oro Bullicante (infused gold-leaf with bubbles) technique.
Most Coronado d"Oro bowls are usually made with crimson red and this one has spirals of red glass in between the gold bubbles. With this technique, the bubbles are both large and small and have irregular shapes as seen in the photos. Vintage Venetian glass blowing at its best....even the bottom of the bowl is spectacular!
EXCELLENT CONDITION. This particular bowl came directly out of an estate in Naples, Florida and sat on a shelf for many decades as there is very little "shelf life" on the bottom (small scratches from use). A perfect item for the Murano glass collector as this 1950s item is in immaculate condition.
