The item is likely an antique Chinese Jade toned stone ritual vessel or vase, possibly from the Republic Dynasty These vessels were often used in ceremonies to honor ancestors with offerings of food and wine.
Heavy and without any repair or damage.
Features a Gu shape with a trumpet neck and sits atop a dragon body adorned with animal motifs, possibly Qilin or other mythical creatures.
May have been used to hold wine or other liquids during rituals.
The style and design are consistent with bronze vessels from the Shang and later dynasties.
The top sits at the base and can easily accommodate some incense or potpourri.
