This is a gorgeous clock. The clock features a gorgeous carved walnut and gesso frame and is signed inside the movement. The gilded birds and winged angels are absolutely beautiful and naturalistically carved. The gold leaf is bright and luminous. The clock is relatively large and similar to cartel clocks I have had. The clock dates to the 1920s era and is French.
