Excellent patina with … Read more Museum quality Han dynasty, 206 BC – 220 AD, dark green deep dish from Luoyang, Henan Province. Excellent patina with the original silvering left intact on the rim of the dish. The last 2 photos show spur marks left by the clay firing stilts used to prop the dish to prevent it from sticking to the kiln floor. There is an identical one on display at the Sackler Freer exhibit in the Smithsonian, Washington D.C. This artifact is priced for its rarity and beauty.
