Unusual Horseshoe Design. It comes from the Classic American Victorian Era - Circa 1860s to 1870s. It is Completely Hand Made out of Solid Black Walnut. It still Retains its Original Varnished Finish. It is also Hand Decorated with a Gold Leaf Symbol of the Masonic Lodge and the Initials S R. It still retains what I believe to be its Original Hand Stitched Needlepoint Cushion Covering but it is Age and Use Worn - Has Some Imperfections. This Cushion can be Easily Removed for Recovering - Reupholstering ( See Last 2 Listing Photographs ). I purchased this piece on on of my recent Picking Adventures in the Down East Coastal Maine Region. It is in Good Cosmetic and Strong - Sturdy Condition.
It Measures 7 1/2 inches Tall x 14 inches Long x 12 inches Wide.
