It Comes from the Tail End of … Read more This Really is a Great Looking & Quite Unusual Antique Wall Hanging Thermometer. It Comes from the Tail End of the Victorian Era - Circa Very Early 1900s. Large Size - Measuring Approx 16 inches Tall x 6 inches Long. It has a Fancy Nickel Plated Cast Iron Frame that Includes Flowers and a Urn with Fruit. The Center has a Hand Made - Hand Blown Glass Vial Style Thermometer that is Mounted on a Milk Glass Back Panel. NOTE That it has a European Fahrenheit Calibration. It has No Maker Mark but I am Quite Sure that it was Made in Germany. It is in Excellent Cosmetic and Functional Condition - Displays Nicely. The Nickel Plating is Somewhat Aged - Weathered Giving it that Authentically Old Look. No Damage - No Repairs..
