Documented to designer Alfredo Barbini, circa 1950s. The lidded jar has a ball top as a handle and filled with gold. The main bowl has a beautiful round shape, with Dalmatian spots decoration throughout. The lid also has the spots. The entire piece is profusely covered in gold leaf throughout. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, candy or jewelry dish. Rare design! Collectors item. Mid-century era. Measures: 4 1/2" tall x 5" across.
