Early 20th Century F. B. Rogers Silver Company Old English Silver Meat Cutlery Serving Platter.
Perfect for Hosting in this Holiday Season. I believe it is designed as a 3 Part Meat Platter, due to the dripping area in the Middle. It can be used for all Your favorite Food Choices. Imagine big.
F. B. Rogers Silver Co. was a silversmithing company founded in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts in 1883. It was acquired by Edmund W. Porter and L.B. West, who incorporated the company and moved manufacturing operations to Taunton, Massachusetts in 1886. For several years, the company was known as West Silver Company, and produced silver products for the William Rogers Manufacturing Company of Hartford, Connecticut.
Original Trademark Label and Number attached at the base.
In good vintage condition with some minor tarnish specks to the History. The Base is not polished to show the age-related Tarnish to the Silver.
The Serving Platter is beautiful and these small areas do not affect its overall appeal.
