The piece … Read more Beautiful and rare, vintage Murano hand blown Millefiori flower canes and orange "Incalmo" rim Italian art glass bowl. The piece is documented to designer Archimede Seguso. I have owned others with his label. The bowl has an applied orange glass rim, placed on top of the clear bottom that is filled with cut canes. There is also a decorative indent to the rim, making it easy to hold with your hand. The flower canes inside it have very intricate designs and pattern combinations. Many of them have more than 4 glass layers in different colors in order to make the designs. There are white, blue, red, pink, teal, yellow, and green colors within them. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, desk or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, candy dish or ashtray. Mid-century era. Measures 5 1/2" long x 4 3/4" wide x 2 3/8" high.
