A lovely example of classical motif chinaware produced for American restaurants and diners in the mid-20thC, these Shenango Rimrol plates feature a creamy white field with a brick red rim design of Greek inspired urns and chains with a dart & dot edge border. American diner meets Olympus!
Very good vintage condition, no cracks, vibrant color. A little wear and 1 chip on back/edge which is not readily noticed (see photos) from 75+ years of enjoyment.
