A beautiful set of 4 Gien France Faiencerie “Feuillage” large dinner plates from the early 1990’s. Feuillage means “Foliage” in french and these dinner plates are hand painted with wonderful green grape leaves in different shades with small village buildings peeking out from the bottom of each plate. Made in France.
These plates have been crafted in keeping with traditional printing methods and painted by hand using techniques unique to earthenware manufacturing and longstanding decorative know-how which has been practiced in Gien since 1821.
