The warm yellow-bronze surface shows natural age and handling, with a softly burnished exterior and interior oxidation from long-term incense use.
The base bears a recessed four-character Xuande reign mark (Da Ming Xuande nian zhi). Produced in the late Qing dynasty as a reverential copy of earlier Ming scholar bronzes, this censer reflects traditional forms intended for domestic and altar use.
