This is an authentic miniature regulator manufactured by the renowned German clockmaker Gebrüder Junghans. This specific model, identified as the "Mosel II", appears in the Junghans official catalog for 1923. It represents the refined "Free Swinger" style popular in the early 20th century, characterized by its architectural top and turned decorative pillars.
Provenance: The back of the case features a clear stamp: "Horlogerie E. BEYER, 13 Rue des Pharmaciens, BISCHWILLER". This indicates the clock was originally sold in Alsace, France, adding a layer of regional history and provenance.
This particular specimen is in working condition.
