Gorgeous 56-Piece Aynsley “Dunrobin” Antique Bone China Set
Elevate your table with this stunning 56-piece set of Aynsley China in the coveted "Dunrobin" pattern. Crafted in England, this antique set blends timeless elegance with a design that appeals to contemporary tastes. Each piece is in near-mint condition or better, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship Aynsley is known for.
The Aynsley Dunrobin pattern, first introduced in the late 1930s, is a stunning example of English bone china. Known for its intricate design featuring rich colors and delicate gilding, it evokes timeless elegance and refinement. This pattern was discontinued prior to Aynsley's acquisition by the Belleek Group in 1997, making it a rare and sought-after collectible today.
Whether you're a china enthusiast or looking for a beautiful addition to your home decor, the Dunrobin pattern offers a touch of history and sophistication. Pieces from this pattern are increasingly hard to find, adding to their charm and value.
This set includes:
13 dinner plates (10.5” diameter)
14 dessert plates (6.25” diameter)
12 double-handled soup bowls (all in mint condition)
12 matching soup bowl saucers (6.25” diameter)
2 covered serving dishes (8.5” diameter, 2.75” high)
1 large serving platter (13” x 10.25”)
1 larger serving platter (17” x 13.5”)
1 gravy boat (8.75” x 6.25” x 3.5”)
Please note that plate stands are not included in your purchase.
Details:
All pieces are marked "AYNSLEY ENGLAND Bone China" and numbered 8192. Most are also stamped with "T. Goode & Co. Ltd LONDON," a retailer synonymous with quality and prestige, excluding the covered dishes, platters, and gravy boat.
As a testament to Aynsley's royal pedigree, both Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana chose Aynsley China as wedding gifts (referenced in Invitation to a Royal Wedding by Kathryn Spink, 1981).
This extraordinary set is not just a functional collection but a piece of history and artistry, perfect for entertaining, collecting, or displaying.
