The art is from an original copper engraving of Historic Colonial Scenes printed on Staffordshire Ironstone. This one is Washington crossing the Delaware during the Revolutionary War which was a turning point in the conflict. This line of dishes was made in England by Enoch Wedgwood & Company. This could be fun to collect, I think it would look great on a table with all the historic scenes in blue and white. Perfect for a history buff. There is even a collectors book by Schiffer on this line. See less
