This is an antique spinning chair. An English, carved mahogany work stool, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.
Fascinating work chair with a fine carved appearance
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select stocks present fine grain interest and deep caramel hues
Relief carvings accentuate the tall, narrow back rest and octagonal seat
Finished with flowerhead and pierced heart motif
Back rest held securely with peg joint, can be removed for storage
Raised upon a quartet of turned legs
