Volutes, curves and curves are formed in the material itself, the visual result is stunning. This pretty Thonet bistro chair, n°20 in the catalogue, was produced at the beginning of the 20th century: a resolutely Belle Epoque spirit emanates from it. The “Oméga” file makes it a rare piece, for collectors or lovers of pretty things filled with poetic nostalgia. The medallion, covered in copper, provides a striking contrast. Pretty office chair, in front of a dressing table or completing a mismatched set around the table, a real gem!

The structure of the chair (no. 20 in the Thonet catalog) is made of bent wood. The medallion was covered with copper leaves. It has a nice patina. The seat is caned and in very good condition. The chair is stable and comfortable. It is signed Thonet.
