A stunning Regency-style leather-wrapped Davenport desk, attributed to Maitland-Smith, was made in the late 20th century. This exquisite desk, almost entirely made of embossed gilt-tooled brown leather, is a masterful blend of elegance and functionality, offering a wealth of concealed storage within a compact design. The upper section features a gallery top with two diminutive drawers, each measuring 10 inches wide, 1.5 inches high, and 5.5 inches deep. The lift top reveals a working desk interior, complete with two additional drawers, 3 inches wide, 2 inches high, and 4.5 inches deep, along with compartmentalized storage for ultimate organization.
