Vintage Italian faenza handled soup bowls with glossy black exteriors and glazed terracotta hued interiors & rim. Perfect for soups, chilis, and dips. Fabricated by the popular Baldelli pottery house. Family owned for 4 generations; founded in 1943. by Dante Baldelli at Città di Castello, near Perugia, Italy. Mark en verso: Baldelli, Italia.
Dimensions: overall, 7"W x 4.5"D x 2.75"H; bowl only, 4.5"Dia. x 2.75"H.
Very good vintage condition with no cracks and no crazing. Minor glaze chips on handles which have been overpainted can be felt but not seen.
