Early 20th-C. porcelain dinner plates made by Charles Ahrenfeldt of Limoges, France. The plates feature a large cobalt blue band border rimmed in gold with gold highlights. Centers beautifully decorated in large floral (roses) motif in complementing colors of pinks and yellow, in two different designed centers, (please refer to image five).
Imported by Richard Briggs, Boston who prided himself on "One of the finest and most carefully selected stocks (French and English), to be found in the world." The plates are ideal as dinner plates, presentation plates or cabinet displays. In excellent condition.
