A French 19th century gilt brass table clock having enameled Roman numerals, the top with an urn issuing flowers, the base with swags and elaborate French feet. The best of the Belle Epoch period in France, heavy gilt brass and elaborate details throughout. Has a lovely delicate bell strike and is in good working order. Key wound eight day movement.
Set it on your favorite table or desk in your study, living room, bedroom or foyer. It could also be beautiful as an assemblage on a wall bracket flanked by artwork or decorative wall plates.
