This Jean Pouyat plate was crafted exclusively for the J. A. Baillargeon & Company department store in Seattle. It features an extensive decoration of festive holly branches with flowers and berries, on the blank of one of their most beloved patterns, POY40, with iconic embossed scrolls and heavy gold on its border.
The plate is in good condition, with slight stains, and some tarnishing to the gold. There is a shallow chip measuring 3/16" x 1/16", as highlighted in the last photo.
