Caramel-colored French Sarreguemines majolica dinner plates. Divided into four compartments, these dishes are often referred to as Fondue or Raclette plates but have several other practical uses. They are perfect for outdoor or picnic settings, keeping different foods separate while minimizing the number of plates needed. They are also helpful in keeping portion sizes under control. Each plate is clearly marked on the underside with a Sarreguemines France mark, in use since 1974. A set like this is hard to find in such good condition.
Measurements: 9" diameter.
