Exact … Read more Museum-worthy, period Baroque hand-carved captain's chair c. 1750 in black with gold leaf accents and a prominent Swedish flag. Exact provenance and meaning of symbols and letters is unknown. It is believed that this chair was created for the captain of a ship. Though we do not know that the leather is original, it definitely looks like it! Surprisingly comfortable for such an elderly gentleman. A very special chair indeed. See less
