The seating has been updated but to the original style of the chair. This chair is a lite chestnut type brown, shows wear but commensurate with age. The rocker is very solid. This chair comes from one of the Gold Coast Mansions of Long Island and is a one family, thru generations owned item, hence the excellent condition. Very nice generations of family that took care in all they had. This Rocker is very close to museum quality. See less
