This Swedish clock features a lovely carved crest with foliage decor. The neck is decorated with rosettes on the side and a flower motif in its center. This clock retains it's original metal face, hands and movement. The one-hinged tear-drop shaped door is reeded and opens from left to right. The unusual base is adorned with a central star as well as a carved swag. The clock has the date 1831 written inside its door. The overall tone of the clock is a light grey green and neutral beige. This clock also has some undertones of black throughout. This piece would look perfect in a living room, family room, bedroom, entryway or office.

This clock is not currently in working condition. Upon completion of purchase and before shipping, a new quartz battery will be added behind the face. The original hands are too heavy to carry the quartz movement, so they would be changed to black hands in a similar in style. A pendulum will be selected and added to work with the quartz movement. The clock would then chime at the top of each hour (the chime can be turned off).
