This antique Fryksdahl clock from Sweden has fabulous trimming throughout, which enhance and accentuate this shapely clock. The clock features a raised crest, in leaf motif, the neck is decorate with a draped, molded trim with petite flowers, and swagged trim defines the underside of the waist. The case/belly door has a round-glass window at center as to view the pendulum. This nicely curved clock, typical of the Fryksdahl style, rests on a flat base. This clock has a warm grey coloring, with wood grain throughout various areas, and charcoal accents the trim. This antique Swedish Fryksdahl floor clock would be lovely in a living room or entry hall.

This clock would be wonderful as a decorative object, however it is not currently in working condition. Upon purchase (and before shipping), a new quartz battery will be added behind the face. The original hands are too heavy to carry the quartz movement, so they would be changed to black hands in a similar in style. The clock would then chime (the chime can be turned off). A pendulum selected to work with the quartz movement would be added.
