The original face is signed Johan Lindstrom, … Read more A Swedish 18th century floor clock with original paint and delicately carved crest. The original face is signed Johan Lindstrom, is housed within a rounded head with rounded trim. The belly is minimally adorned, and has a large one-hinged door opening to the right, and window at its center. The lower section has a delicately outlined molding showcasing its curvy shape, and is raised upon a scalloped base. Circa 1770-1780.

This clock is not currently in working condition. Upon purchase (and before shipping), a new quartz battery will be added behind the face. The original hands are too heavy to carry the quartz movement, so they would be changed to black hands in a similar in style. The clock would then chime (the chime can be turned off). A pendulum selected to work with the quartz movement would be added.
