This antique clock from Sweden is simple and unassuming with its round-shaped head, minimally adorned with a curved top crest, an elongated neck moves down onto the tear drop shaped belly, uplifting trim molding defines the waist, leading your eyes down onto the gentle lines of the base, which is raised with scalloped skirt in front. The clock face retains its original face with an early movement, which has always only had a single hand (as you can see pictured in the additional images.) The general color is a light ivory grey with a charcoal trim about the face. This Swedish 19th century clock would be wonderful in a bedroom setting, as well as a living room or entry hallway.

This clock is not currently in working condition. Upon purchase (and before shipping), a new quartz battery will be added behind the face. The original hands are too heavy to carry the new quartz movement, so they would be changed to black hands in a similar in style. The clock would then chime (the chime can be turned off). A pendulum selected to work with the quartz movement would be added.
