Standing on the original base, the clock has … Read more This important, vintage Boulle mantel clock was created in France, circa 1950. Standing on the original base, the clock has bronze scrolled feet and decorative mounts; it features an arched pediment surmounted with a gilt bronze cherub playing the trumpet. The red tortoiseshell and brass inlaid case is outlined with brass; the center clock face is further embellished with blue enamel and brass Roman dial. The tall clock is in excellent working order; pendulum, winding key and door key included. This elegant clock with opulent ormolu decor is in excellent condition and would make a Classic addition to a formal living room or study.
Measure: 16.25" W x 7.5" D x 31.5" H.
